Political hyperbole and fear mongering. Everything sounds good when you don't actually have to back it up.

Wow you may think that, but I don't go round calling people ignorant idiots. Listen I may not know all about the Canadian health care system, but I have friends who do prefer it over the American Health Care system. I know in Canada that for maternity leave women get 52 weeks off in America they don't get that long. It may not be perfect, but it still has it's benefits over the American System.

you are a fucking idiot,, shut your ignorant mouth you dont know what your talking about you useful idiot, they have a way inferior system,, they routinely shut down emergency rooms, due to lack of funds,, they wait months for the permissio to perform emergency surguries that require a decision in days,, you are a fucking idiot

Oh hell no one will disagree with you the Canadian Health Care is still way better than that in the US. I have friends in Canada they know to appreciate what they have there, but what can you do the American Health Care system is never going to be perfect especially since such large corporations have a say in everything since they lobby congress. It's a complete mess and corrupted and many people are grossly misinformed about it. It sucks.

You make some good points. However, I stand by my opinion that I personally would rather my Canadian healthcare system, flawed as it is, than the American corporatist system.

I worked for a couple of companies the only time I had great coverage was under my moms when I was a teen and she worked for a hospital. Many companies often times will get the lowest tear of health care to save money. The companies with good health care are starting to fall apart because of changes in the economy or have changed their health care to benefit their pocket. So him talking about having good health care under a company is bull for a lot of us and it's not cost effective at all.

Ahhh but with the flaws come benefits as well we just need a better health care plan altogether, but it will take different people to get that in their. Many people are grossly mis-informed about health care today and it's sad.

Which form of government isn't flawed? The reason government will never be perfect is because people are flawed and often times greedy especially when money comes into play. Many in government have been using their knowledge to make gains in the stock market. Also, it's hard to take anyone in government seriously in health care mainly because they have usually make 6 figures and not to mention have way better health care in most cases.

You're clearly an American. The democratic form of government is flawed, however I would greatly embrace it over any other current form of national government on the planet. Can you think of any other current form which is preferable? I personally dislike democracy, however I view it as more acceptable than any other current model---if you think there is a better, more realistic model than please tell me!

If you want to use your 1964 brittania encyclopedia as your knowledge base go ahead....Government is suppose to protect peoples rights.....you can decide if that's true.
