You miss the whole point! If someone were to rent *their* car, agree. But what you forget is that in banks cases, the *car* (money) is not theirs. They are simply renting others' cars. To make it clear, a bank technically never-ever has ANY money of its own at all, from the moment of its foundation to collapse, as proved during crises. Contradict me if you can: a bank starts with zero, creates NOTHING by itself but only with others' resources and makes owners ridiculously rich. Great video!
